Tim Gent - General Manager, Recresco

Tim Gent is General Manager of leading UK glass reprocessing company, Recresco. Founded by his father, Alan Gent in the late 70s, Recresco has consistently developed and innovated throughout its 40+ year history under the leadership of Tim and his brothers.

In recent years, Tim successfully steered the company through a period of significant growth, making substantial investment into cutting edge sorting technologies that maximise volume of glass for remelt.

Recresco was aquired by European glass container producer BA Glass Group at the end of 2023 and continues its reprocessing activities in the UK. Gent currently holds the position of General Manager, Recresco and is CEO of Vidro Consulting. Tim lives with his family in Devon and enjoys watersports, skiiing and car restoration projects in his spare time.
